Archbishop José H. Gomez has appointed Msgr. Timothy O’Connell as spiritual director of the Blue Army of Our Lady of Fatima, Los Angeles Archdiocesan Division. Msgr. O’Connell will begin his new role in January.

The collection of nature photos pays tribute to Pope Francis’ most recent encyclical while honoring the beauty of God’s creation.
Mission San Buenaventura celebrated its missionary-founder’s recent canonization, beginning with a four-block-long procession and concluding with a Mass that required overflow seating in the parish hall to accommodate nearly 1,000 attendees.
The Mass also included a rite for the official installation of Auxiliary Bishop Robert Barron as Santa Barbara Region bishop.
Thomas Aquinas College (TAC) was ranked second in the United States, following Princeton University, in alumni giving — a sign of graduates’ satisfaction with the education they have received. U.S. News & World Report published the findings this year.
The Villanova Preparatory School will host their annual Wildcat Classic Golf Tournament and Oktoberfest Dinner on Oct. 30. The golf registration time is at 9 a.m., with tee time at 11 a.m. The dinner will begin at 4 p.m.
