The faithful of all ages — including toddlers dressed as pint-sized replicas of St. Juan Diego — gathered together under a cold, starry sky in the plaza of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in downtown Los Angeles on the evening of Dec. 11 to watch Aztec dancers in feathered regalia launch this year’s feast day celebration in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
