Cathedral tour for separated, divorced & widowed

Friday, 08 June 2012 00:00

LOS ANGELES --- The archdiocesan Office of Family Life’s ministry to separated, divorced and widowed is offering a tour of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels and Mass on the morning of June 30th. Led by Father Patrick Hill, archdiocesan canonical services coordinator, the event’s theme is “Reflect and Renew our Inner Strength.”

Healing the hurts from personal loss comes from God’s love and grace; God’s desire for us to change our mourning into a strong spirit can bring wholeness, says Father Hill. Onsite registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Participants should meet at the lower level plaza near the Temple Street entrance. The Cathedral tour starts at 9 a.m. followed by Mass at 10. Cost: $15. RSVP requested by June 28. Parking: $5. For information, call (626) 357-6508.

Prayer of the Month

Papal intentions for May: That administrators of justice may act always with integrity and right conscience; That seminaries, especially those of mission churches, may form pastors after the Heart of Christ, fully dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel.
