USCCB chair for Promotion and Defense of Marriage to speak at Thomas Aquinas College commencement

On May 14, the Most Rev. Salvatore J. Cordileone, Archbishop of San Francisco, will give the commencement address to Thomas Aquinas College’s graduating students. During the event, Archbishop Cordileone will be honored with the school’s highest award, the St. Thomas Aquinas Medallion, in recognition of his life-long fidelity and service to the Catholic Church.

Louisville High School choir wins first place at choral competition  

On April 15, the Royal Company — an extracurricular choir at Louisville High School in Woodland Hills — won first place in a competition at the Music in the Parks Music Festival. The 13 student singers, accompanied by pianist Francesco Alleruzzo and conducted by music teacher Maura Crawley, sang three classical pieces.
