As the entrance procession wound its way into the church to Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy” loud applause and cheering could be heard as parishioners caught sight of present pastor Father Edwin Duyshart leading the procession that included Msgrs. Sean Acton (pastor from 1970-1978) and Alfred Hernandez (1978-1997), and Father Arturo Velasco (1997-2010), as well as Archbishop Jose Gomez and San Fernando Region Auxiliary Bishop Gerald Wilkerson.
