ACC update: Tidings office closed July 25
LOS ANGELES --- With the relocation of offices and personnel at the Archdiocesan Catholic Center continuing, The Tidings' office will be closed July 25.

In recent weeks, and continuing into August, ACC offices are moving from occupying 12 floors to occupying four floors --- the second through fifth --- at 3424 Wilshire Boulevard. Some offices have already moved, and are becoming settled in their new quarters.

Offices of The Tidings are relocating from the sixth to the third floor this weekend. The need to remove and re-install equipment necessitates the closure of the offices from July 25 to 27; the office is scheduled to reopen July 28. No interruption in production of The Tidings is expected, although FAX and email may be delayed somewhat during the reinstallation of communications equipment.

NPM/L.A. registration continues
LOS ANGELES --- Registration is ongoing for the National Association of Pastoral Musicians regional convention, Aug. 5-8 at the Wilshire Grand Hotel in Los Angeles. The archdiocesan Office for Worship is co-sponsoring the event. Pastoral musicians, liturgists, priests, deacons and others interested in liturgy and liturgical music are invited to participate, with a variety of workshops, prayer and performances, as well as a multicultural institute, a music ministry leadership retreat, and an evening Mass at the Cathedral with Auxiliary Bishop Oscar Solis. Early registration has already closed, but information and registration forms can be found at http://www.npm.org.
