Spiritual replenishment for couples offered at Mary & Joseph
The Mary & Joseph Retreat Center is offering a three-part "Feasting at Cana: A Program of Spiritual Replenishment for Married Couples." Each presentation, which includes dinner, will give a fresh spiritual perspective on the challenge of marital and home life. There will be time for sharing, and other spiritually oriented experiences.

The program is designed to help meet the needs of the sandwich generation or boomers, those couples who are trying to raise their children while dealing with aging parents, or those who are just trying to find a balance in their lives. The primary aim is to provide spiritual support for partners who want their marriages to flourish.

"Bearing Witness to the Reality of Love" with Father Alexander Lewis kicks off the series on Feb. 14, 5:30-10 p.m. Reflect on how marriage isn't an isolated event between two people, but a global witness of God's love with an immense responsibility to put into practice "one moment at a time."

"Spirit, Space and Time: Reclaiming Family Togetherness" with Maureen Nunn will take place April 24, 6-10 p.m. Nunn will explore techniques and successful methods that work in making each moment count with children and spouse.

The final session, "A Trip Versus a Vacation," with Susie McNary Johnson, will be given June 18, 6-10 p.m. Issues to be explored include, "What constitutes a real Vacation?" and "Are your traditions different from your spouse's?"

For information, call (310) 377-4867, ext. 234, or go to www.maryjoseph.org. Mary & Joseph Retreat Center is located at 5300 Crest Rd., Rancho Palos Verdes.
