St. Mary School 100th Anniversary: Dec. 1
St. Mary School in Boyle Heights will mark its 100th anniversary with a centennial Mass and celebration Dec. 1, beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, 555 W. Temple St., Los Angeles. A reception will follow at the Salesian Youth Center, 2228 E. Fourth St., East Los Angeles. For information, call (323) 262-3395.

Social Justice Ministry Celebration: Dec. 9
The archdiocesan Office of Justice and Peace will host a Social Justice Ministry Mass and reception Dec. 9, 3-6 p.m. at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 1241 Corning St., Los Angeles. Auxiliary Bishop Oscar Solis, director of the office, will preside at the 3 p.m. Mass. The event honors those involved with social justice ministries. Ecumenical Advent Service: Dec. 9
The Archdiocese of Los Angeles and the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles will jointly sponsor an ecumenical Advent service in honor of Mary, Mother of Our Lord, on Dec. 9. Auxiliary Bishop Edward Clark and Assistant Episcopal Bishop Sergio Carranza will lead the 4 p.m. service at St. John's Cathedral, 514 W. Adams Blvd., Los Angeles.
