Talks on Our Lady of Guadalupe: November 25-30
Father Antonio Garnica, pastor of Sagrado Corazon y Santa Maria de Guadalupe Church in Cudahy, will offer talks in Spanish at various parishes about the religious and cultural significance of the symbols in the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

All the talks are at 7 p.m. unless otherwise noted:

---Nov. 23 at Resurrection, 3324 E. Opal St., Los Angeles.
---Nov. 24 at St. Andrew, 311 N. Raymond Ave., Pasadena.
---Nov. 25 at St. Mary, 407 S. Chicago St., Los Angeles; Mass at 12:30 p.m. followed by the talk.
--- Nov. 26 at St. Philomena, 21900 S. Main St., Carson.
--- Nov. 27 at St. Lucy, 1419 N. Hazard Ave., Los Angeles.
---Nov. 28 at Our Lady of Solitude Church, 4561 East Cesar Chavez Ave., East Los Angeles.
---Nov. 29 at Sagrado Corazon Church, 1720 N. Culver Ave., Compton.
---Nov. 30 at Our Lady of Loretto Church, 250 N. Union Ave., Los Angeles.

This year's annual one-mile procession in honor of Our Lady with the theme "Mother Without Borders --- Tearing Down Walls of Injustice" begins Dec. 2 at noon at Our Lady of Solitude Church. The procession will end with a Mass celebrated by Cardinal Roger Mahony at the East Los Angeles College Stadium, 1301 Cesar Chavez Ave. in Monterey Park beginning at 1:30 p.m. Those who are unable to walk in the procession can go directly to the stadium for prayer and a musical program prior to the liturgy.
