Vocations Office sponsors
'Discipleship' nights

"Nights of Discipleship," aimed at spiritual development and considering the call to a priestly or religious vocation, are being sponsored in all five pastoral regions of the archdiocese by The Office for Vocations for single adults (18 and over).

The evening offer an opportunity for men and women 18 and older to reflect, discuss and pray on questions rooted in discipleship of Jesus, and how to live that call in today's world. The evenings are help monthly in each of the following parishes, beginning at 7 or 7:30 p.m. (call the parish for specific times and future sessions):

Our Lady of the Angels: Transfiguration, Los Angeles, led by Father Richard Martini, beginning Oct. 25; Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, Los Angeles, led by Father Francis Mendoza, next on Nov. 13.

San Fernando: St. Mary, Palmdale, led by Father Christopher Bazyouros, next on Nov. 15; Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Santa Clarita, led by Father Sam Ward, next on Nov. 14; Our Lady of Peace, North Hills, led by Father Alexander Lewis.

San Gabriel: St. Andrew, Pasadena, led by Father Paul Griesgraber, next on Nov. 5; St. Martha, Valinda, led by Father Bill Easterling, next on Nov. 7.

San Pedro: Holy Trinity, San Pedro, led by Father Edward Benioff, next on Nov. 14; St. John of God, Norwalk, led by Father John-Paul Gonzalez, beginning Oct. 25.

Santa Barbara: Our Lady of the Assumption, Ventura, led by Father Steven Davoren, beginning Oct. 24; St. John's Seminary, Camarillo, led by Ricky Viveros, next on Nov. 13; Santa Clara, Oxnard, led by Father Marco Durazo, next on Nov. 15.
