'TROLL' group presents 18th annual musical

text only version

The Theatre Repertoire of Our Lady of Lourdes (TROLL) will present its 18th annual musical production, "Anything Goes," during the last two weekends of September at the Northridge parish.

The musical --- written by Guy Bolton, D.G. Wodehouse, Howard Lindsay and Russell Crouse, with music and lyrics by Cole Porter --- will be performed by parishioners, under the direction of Bob Peters with musical direction by Matthew Park and choreography by Palmer Davis.

Beginning with "Damn Yankees," TROLL over the years has performed many of Broadway's most famous musicals including "The Music Man," "Fiddler of the Roof" and "Bye Bye Birdie." In addition to parishioners of all ages, several of the parish's associate pastors have been part of the productions, with the support of Msgr. Peter Moran, pastor.

This year's performances are Sept. 21-23 and 28-30. Friday and Saturday showtimes are 7:30 p.m., Sundays at 1:30 p.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes' Stroup Hall, 18400 Kinzie St., Northridge. Tickets are $10. For information, call (818) 709-8090.
