'Cathedral Tapestries' to air on ABC

text only version

The acclaimed documentary film "Divining the Human: The Cathedral Tapestries of John Nava" will air on local ABC affiliates beginning this month. Directed by David Tlapek, produced by Brookwood Enterprises and narrated by actor Edward James Olmos, the film follows Nava's activities through a long and highly complex creative process in creating tapestries for the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels.

The program will air Sept. 23 on KABC (7), Los Angeles, at 4.a.m., and on KESQ, Palm Desert, at 5 a.m. It is also scheduled to air Oct. 14, 11 a.m., on KEYT (3), Santa Barbara.

"Divining the Human," a presentation of the Interfaith Broadcasting Commission's "Vision & Values" series, was funded in part by a grant from the Catholic Communication Campaign. A DVD of the program can be purchased by phone at: (877) 680-5277, or online at: www.olacathedralgifts.com.
