DENTAL CARE FOR UNINSURED --- Dental assistant Flore Aviles and dentist Lorenzo Altmon work on the teeth of a 14-year-old client at the Spanish Catholic Center in Washington in this photo from February. The center provides medical, dental, immigration, legal, educational and social sercices to more than 40,000 people annually. According to the medical director, the clentele is 95 percent Hispanic and 98 percent uninsured. |
