Rosary Bowl tickets still available;
shuttle service added

text only version

Free tickets for The Rosary Bowl May 19 can still be obtained at the Rose Bowl's Will Call windows starting at 2 p.m. Saturday. More than 68,000 advance tickets have been requested and issued to parishes, groups, families and individuals throughout Southern California for the event, 6-9 p.m., at the Pasadena stadium.

The Rose Bowl parking lots will open at 1 p.m. and stadium gates will open at 5 p.m. Rose Bowl stadium parking fees are $15 per car, and $40 per bus or RV. Parking for $9 per car is available at the Parsons Engineering Parking lot, 100 W. Walnut, corner of Fair Oaks, in Pasadena.

Free shuttles will run between Parsons and the Rose Bowl, 2-11 p.m. Those free shuttles are also available to Gold Line rail passengers, disembarking at the Memorial Park station, 125 E. Holly St., and walking three blocks west on Holly across Fair Oaks and the Parsons lot. The Gold Line will run until 11 p.m.

This multi-cultural event to pray the Rosary for world peace and for families everywhere is being organized by Holy Cross Family Ministries and its Hollywood member, Family Theater Productions, in collaboration with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. More information is available at www.rosarybowl.org or by calling 1-800-874-0999 by 4 p.m. May 18.
