Hindu-Catholic Dialogue: March 17
A Hindu-Catholic Dialogue will take place March 17 at Loyola Marymount University, 9:30 a.m.-noon. The dialogue will feature Amit Goswani, emeritus professor of physics at the University of Oregon and one of the physicists in the 2004 film "What the Bleep Do We Know?", and Roberto Dell'Oro, LMU theology professor with a focus on bioethics and ethical theories. Teacher Recruitment Day: March 24
The Archdiocese of Los Angeles' Department of Catholic Schools will hold a Teacher Recruitment Day Presentation March 24 at Mount St. Mary's College, Doheny Campus, near downtown Los Angeles. The Elementary School Presentation is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. and the Secondary School Presentation will take place at 11:30 a.m. Welcomed are those interested in teaching in a Catholic school, grades K-12, within the counties of Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara. The presentation will offer a glimpse into the characteristics of the Catholic school and its teachers as well as the application process and benefits.
