IN MISSOURI --- Human cloning opponents watch election results at the headquarters of Missourians Against Human Cloning in Chesterfield, Nov. 7. The state's Catholic bishops said Missouri voters "lost a significant battle for the protection of human life" this year by approving the ballot question that permits any stem-cell research allowed under federal law --- to the point of allowing human cloning.
