BISHOPS --- Retired Bishop Manuel Moreno --- seen here (at left) at a special ceremony Jan. 15, 2002 that welcomed Bishop Gerald Kicanas (right) as the coadjutor of the Tucson Diocese --- was hospitalized in "very serious" condition this week. The Placentia native was ordained in 1961 for the Los Angeles Archdiocese.
