| A delegation from the Archdiocese of Seoul, Korea visited Los Angeles Oct. 18-20 to meet with leaders of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and to learn about the operation of various ministry, administrative and financial offices.
"I was deeply impressed with the organization and the diversity of the diocesan programs implemented in the archdiocese," said Auxiliary Bishop Andrew Yeom, vicar general of the Archdiocese of Seoul. "Through our experience with you during these days, we hope to enhance our own pastoral programs, so that this same love for the church will continue to grow in the Archdiocese of Seoul."
The delegation traveling with the bishop included: Father Y.K. Joseph Kim, Episcopal vicar for juveniles of the Archdiocese of Seoul; Father K.S. Paul Lee, secretary general of the Catholic Educational Foundation; Father K.S. Augustine Yoon, vice secretary of the CEF; Father K.H. John Lee chief operating officer of Catholic Medical Center; H.Y. Park, professor of the Catholic University; Y.Y. Joseph Lee, head of Business Division; and M.J. Hellen Lee, manager of General Affairs Division.
Among those from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles who met with the Korean delegation are Msgr. Royale Vadakin, moderator of the Curia and vicar general; Sister of Charity Mary Elizabeth Galt, chancellor; Carolina Guevara, associate director of the Office of Media Relations; Father David Loftus, coordinator of adult formation in the Office of Religious Education; and Religious Sister of Charity Edith Prendergast, director of the Office of Religious Education.
