HAWTHORNE'S DAUGHTER -- Una Hawthorne, daughter of author Nathaniel
Hawthorne and sister to Rose, is pictured in this undated photo. The
Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne, N.Y., the order founded by Rose, was
instrumental in bringing the remains of Una and their mother, Sophia,
from England to be reburied beside Nathaniel at Sleepy Hollow cemetery
