| In addition to the St. Charles Borromeo concert June 25, three choral concerts featuring well-known vocal ensembles will be presented in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles over the next week.
On June 17 at St. Paul the Apostle Church, the Paulist Choristers will explore the century-old tradition of Irish music and its influence on American culture in "On the Kiltartan Road: An Evening of Irish song." Luke McEndarfer will conduct, accompanied by traditional instruments.

On June 21, the Bishop's Choir of Covington Cathedral, under the direction of nationally-known composer/conductor Robert Schaffer, will sing a varied program of choral music from several periods of music history at Mary Star of the Sea Church, 870 W. 8th St., San Pedro. On June 25, the Choir of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, under the direction of Frank Brownstead, will sing Evening Prayer and Concert with chamber orchestra and organ to celebrate the anniversary of Wolfgang Amedeus Mozart's 250th birthday. The Evening Prayer (4 p.m.) will include Fantasie in F-minor (K. 608) by Sal Soria, cathedral organist, and Laudate Dominum (from Verperae solennes de confessore, K. 339).
Following
Evening Prayer, the choir and chamber orchestra will perform
Mozart's "Coronation Mass" in C Major, K. 317. The soloists
include Rochelle Martin, soprano; Melanie Heyn, alto; D.J.
Pick, tenor; and Julian Fielder, bass.
