Ministry with Lesbian and Gay Catholics Mass: May 6
The Ministry with Lesbian and Gay Catholics will be celebrating 20 years of ministry with a special multi-lingual Mass May 6 at 6 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 6657 Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood. Cardinal Roger Mahony founded this archdiocesan ministry to offer support, pastoral care and opportunities to reflect upon Catholic Church teaching on homosexuality. Since then, parish based ministries, parents' ministries and college ministries have been formed to assist in this mission.

Priests, members of religious communities and lay leaders from throughout the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and the region are invited to join members of the MLGC for the anniversary liturgy. An informal reception will follow in the parish hall. For more information, contact Father Chris Ponnet, pastor of St. Camillus Pastoral Center at (323) 225-4461 x221.
