The Irish connection, continued

text only version

Adding to The Tidings' March 17 centerspread article on the history of Irish pastors in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, the following pastors are also part of this 150-year-old history. In some cases, they served as pastors of parishes formerly in the L.A. Archdiocese but now in the Diocese of Orange. (The list excludes religious order pastors).

We are grateful to the many thoughtful readers who called, wrote, emailed and faxed in these additions, which include both current pastors and those of years ago. In some cases, the priests whose names were submitted were not, in fact, pastors, but served here in other capacities; in others, available records were incomplete and service could not be verified; and in some cases, pastors with Irish ancestries were not, in fact, born in Ireland
