| This Christmas, various Council of Los Angeles Society of St. Vincent de Paul Conferences (groups of volunteers) throughout the archdiocese are collecting toys, food and financial donations to help thousands of disadvantaged and homeless children and families.
The following is a list of St. Vincent de Paul Conferences and their holiday needs, which include food, furnishings, toys and financial gifts, earmarked "Christmas 2005." Adopt-A-Family deadlines may be earlier in some cases. Officials recommend that donated furnishings be in good condition --- "something that you would want in your home." For information on particular needs, contact the individual conference.
Altadena: Financial gifts can be mailed to the Society
