LOUISIANA CONNECTION --- Los Angeles Auxiliary Bishop Oscar Solis' former parishioners from St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux, Louisiana, are shown after attending his episcopal ordination at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in 2004. Since the aftermath of Katrina, Bishop Solis has heard from Thibodaux parishioners regarding the plight of evacuees arriving in the region, approximately 60 miles west from devastated New Orleans.
