Bishop Luis Antonio Tagle, from the Diocese of Imus, Cavite, Philippines, will give a talk titled, "The Divine Mercy Spirituality: It is a Way of Life," after concelebrating a Mass at Incarnation Church in Glendale July 16 beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Bishop "Chito," as he is fondly called by many in the Filipino community, will center his reflection on Pope John Paul II's encyclical, "Dives in Misericordia" ("Rich in Mercy"), especially the passage: "Jesus Christ taught that man not only receives and experiences the mercy of God, but that he is also called to practice mercy towards others."
