Disney pledge aids cancer center construction

A $10 million pledge by Roy and Patricia Disney toward the construction of San Fernando Valley's first freestanding cancer center was announced recently by the Providence Saint Joseph Foundation. The Disney Cancer Center will provide clinical, therapeutic, emotional and spiritual services by experts in both Eastern and Western medicine. So far, $20 million has been raised for the $33.1 million project portrayed in the above illustration.
