Providence High School's mock trial team members learned Dec. 2 that they had finished fifth in Los Angeles County out of more than 70 schools participating in the annual Constitutional Rights Foundation's Los Angeles County Mock Trial.

"I am very proud and excited," said Terry Piumetti, mock trial coach and social studies teacher at the Burbank school. This year, the participants argued a fictional criminal case involving an illegal drag race that resulted in the death of one of the teenage participants.
