Holy Family HS drill team takes top prize

Though they were first-time competitors at the 30th Annual Christmas Fantasy Parade Nov. 21 in East Los Angeles, members of Glendale's Holy Family High School drill team walked awaywith the Sweepstakes Award. The 30 Holy Family drill team members from ninth through twelfth grades faced competitor teams from 100 schools. The team will compete in the 2004 Granada Hills Holiday Parade and the Laguna Niguel Holiday Parade on Dec. 11. Holy Family High School was recently named to The Catholic High School Honor Roll, which selects the best 50 Catholic secondary schools in America based on academic excellence, Catholic identity and civic education.
