Notre Dame, St. Bonaventure, Crespi seek CIF grid titles

Three Catholic schools will compete Dec. 10 for CIF-Southern Section titles in football, after winning semifinal contests last weekend.

Division III: Undefeated Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks) will put its 13-0 record on the line at home against Dominguez (12-1), after subduing St. Francis 49-14 last week.

Division IV: St. Bonaventure (12-1) defeated San Luis Obispo 28-21 in the semis Dec. 4, and will play its crosstown rival Ventura (11-2) at Ventura.

Division X: Crespi (9-4) will host North Torrance (12-1) for the championship after the Celts stopped Lompoc 25-8. North Torrance edged St. Joseph (Santa Maria) 21-18 in its semifinal.
