The first Respect Life Unborn Memorial Candle Service was celebrated in conjunction with Respect Life Month in October at St. Dorothy Church, Glendora.

As part of the remembrance, an infant baby painting was used in the ceremony that took place at four Sunday Masses Oct. 10. The parish also held baby showers after each Mass, with parishioners donating items for babies to the Pregnancy Help Center of the San Gabriel Valley, which for many years has provided assistance to new mothers.
