Santa Barbara Region
text only version

"JustFaith," an intensive social justice program sponsored by Catholic Charities USA, will present a one-day workshop Jan. 22, 2005 at Blessed Junipero Serra Church, Camarillo.

The program involves parish participants in a variety of learning experiences to provide "a rich context for personal transformation and fresh commitments to justice and parish social ministry," said Jack Jezreel, "JustFaith" author and program director who will present the workshop. Jezreel has worked in social justice parish ministry for 20 years and received the Archdiocese of Louisville's Peace & Justice Award in 1995.

Registration is $15 for the 9 a.m.-3 p.m. workshop. Blessed Junipero Serra Church is located at 5205 Upland Rd., Camarillo; for information, call Michelle Paschen, (805) 484-6042, or Nick Pena, (805) 482-8087.
