"Faith: Where It Can Lead" is the theme for the 28th annual Catholic-Jewish Women's Conference scheduled Nov. 11, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the Wilshire Boulevard Temple, Los Angeles.
The morning will feature presentations by Sister of Social Service Diane Donoghue of Esperanza Community Housing Corp. and Rabbi Toba August of Adat Shalom Synagogue, Los Angeles. Small group discussion in the afternoon will allow participants to reflect on and share with one another on the issues raised.
Subtitled "Two Traditions in Dialogue," the Catholic-Jewish Women's Conference annually brings together women of the two faiths for learning, sharing and inspiration.
