A wine seminar and tasting benefiting Providence Holy Cross Medical Center's emergency department and trauma services will be held Oct. 30 at Bishop Alemany High School in Mission Hills from 4-7 p.m. All proceeds will go toward expanding services in the ER, which treats 3,700 people each month.
The public is invited to sample the many wine varieties available. Individuals bringing a bottle of wine wrapped in a bag may enter a patron blind tasting. Prizes will be given for wines winning the most votes. Tickets are $50 each; $400 per table of eight.
