Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary Sisters tour school

In honor of 55 years of continuous ministry by Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary sisters at St. Francis de Sales School in Sherman Oaks, members of the religious community's General Council recently visited the facility. They were escorted around the K-8 campus by Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary Sister Ellen Marie McGovern, who is school principal. The Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary visitors from Rome included Sister Olga Georgina (Mozambique), councillor (left to right in photo); Sister Margaret Fielding (Ireland), councillor/secretary; Sister Catherine Dolan (England), general superior; Sister Maria Teresa Morgadinha (Portugal), councillor and Sister Veronica Brand, (Zimbabwe), councillor/treasurer.
