Grand opening ceremonies were held Oct. 16 for the Providence Saint Joseph Breast Health Center in Burbank located adjacent to Saint Joseph Medical Center. The center, accredited by the American College of Radiology, the Food and Drug Administration and the State of California, offers full-field digital mammography with computer-aided detection.

Other services at the center include breast MRI, breast ultrasounds and PET scans as well as minimally invasive diagnostic procedures. In addition, the center offers spiritual care, social services and breast health education.
