Consolation' Nov. 7

Santa Barbara Region
text only version

The John Rutter "Requiem" will be among the works to be performed in a "Concert of Consolation," at Blessed Junipero Serra Church in Camarillo Nov. 7 at 3 p.m.

"It is an opportunity to remember, to grieve and to celebrate those who have gone before us through the beauty of music," said Dominic McAller, parish liturgy and music director. The Padre Serra choir, soloists and chamber orchestra will also perform Liam Lawton's "The Cloud's Veil," featuring a new arrangement by Daniel Houze, and other works.

Suggested donation is $10. The parish is located at 5202 Upland Rd., Camarillo; for information, call (805) 482-6417.
