Sacred dance workshop Oct. 30

John West, director of the Valyermo Dancers, will lead an Oct. 30 workshop of prayer and dance designed to enrich one's spiritual and artistic life. The day will include biblical reflection, personal prayer and directed dance, movement and celebration.

The sacred dance workshop takes place at St. Monica Church auditorium, 735 California Ave., Santa Monica, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $45; contact Cathy Saine at (805) 484-0606.
