CIMA awards to honor Wyatt, 'Passion'

Catholics in Media Associates will hold its 12th annual Mass and awards luncheon Nov. 7 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Actress Jane Wyatt will receive the CIMA Lifetime Achievement Award at the event, which will also honor Mel Gibson's blockbuster film, "The Passion of the Christ," and Barbara Hall's acclaimed television drama series, "Joan of Arcadia."

CIMA's mission is to recognize entertainment projects and people who, through their work, have made clearer the Word of God and affirmed the highest ethical standards of the Judeo-Christian tradition. Previous honorees include Gregory Peck, Carroll O'Connor and Steven Spielberg.

For prepaid reservations to the event beginning at 10 a.m., call (818) 907-2734 or email CatholicsInMedia@aol.com.
