Our Lady of Lourdes holds annual festival

A weekend of family entertainment is planned Oct. 8-10 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Northridge during its 20th annual festival. Live bands, rides, bingo, games, international food, a silent auction and a $5,000 first prize raffle are all on tap from 5 p.m. on Friday through 8 p.m. on Sunday.

Festival highlights include an Italian Pasta Dinner on Friday, "Kids Day" on Saturday and a car show on Sunday. Musical entertainment includes the Tom Corbett Band (bluegrass) on Friday evening, "Elvis" and "The Blues Brothers" music on Saturday and big band tunes from the Bobby Perino Orchestra at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Admission to the festival is free. The church is located one block south of Lassen on Reseda Blvd. in Northridge. For further information, call (818) 349-0245.
