Liturgical Formation Day slated

The Office for Worship will sponsor a Liturgical Formation Day for liturgical ministers Oct. 30, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at San Gabriel Mission Church and High School, San Gabriel.

The day will include a keynote address, "Let Us Go in Peace to…", presented by Daniel J. Miller, of the Center for Spiritual Development in the Orange Diocese. He will also present a workshop on liturgical spirituality.

Other ministry workshops and presenters include extraordinary ministers of Communion (Father Jack Stoeger); lector enrichment (Sandra Dooley); initiation overview (Gail Gresser); the spirituality of the musician (Christopher Walker); ministry of sacristan (Dan White); ministry to the sick and dying (Brother Felipe Martinez); and liturgy preparation (Pam Wagner).
