LIFE SENTENCE --- Dorothy Erskine hopes that passage of Proposition 66 might give her nephew Brian Smith another chance. Smith received a third strike and was sentenced to 25-years-to-life in prison for aiding and abetting the shoplifting of shoes at Cerritos Mall.
