San Pedro Region
text only version

The Knights of Columbus' second annual Living Rosary for Catholic Education will be held Oct. 16 at Junipero Serra High School in Gardena.

The event will begin with a procession into the stadium featuring an image of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary that was blessed by Pope John Paul II. One the world's largest "living rosaries" will fill up one-third of the football field. Children and adults representing living "beads" will lead the stadium in each prayer. After the Rosary the solemn benediction will be led by Father Sal Pilato, principal.
