Father Edward J. Dillon has been named chaplain at Marymount College in Rancho Palos Verdes.

Father Dillion received his STD in Biblical Theology from Gregorian University in Rome and has taught at Villanova University, Cabrini College, St. Joseph's University, Regis College and St. Bernard's Seminary.

In addition he has served as a parish priest and pastor in upstate New York, and as a chaplain at the University of Rochester's Strong Memorial Hospital and at the Monroe County Jail in Rochester, N.Y.

"We are delighted to welcome to our campus community a member of the Catholic clergy with such a rich background as a teacher, counselor and religious leader," said Dr. Thomas McFadden, Marymount president.
