St. Andrew's Abbey gears up
for fall festival

Plans are underway for the 47th annual Valyermo Fall Festival at St. Andrew's Abbey scheduled Sept. 25-26, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. both days.

The open air festival on the 800-acre ranch grounds will include 42 attractions, including food booths, entertainment, folk art booths, a petting zoo, climbing wall and the abbey's world famous angel and saint ceramics.

Admission to the festival is free; a parking fee of $4 will be charged. Masses will be held both days in the abbey chapel. The festival benefits the ministries of Saint Andrew's Abbey. For more information, call (661) 944-2178 or log on to the website (www.valyermo.com).
