WITH HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR --- Pope John Paul II reaches out to Holocaust survivor Edith Tziner in the Hall of Remembrance at Yad Vashem in Jerusalem March 23, 2000. Tziner said that as a child in 1945, she was carried out of a Polish prison camp near Krakow by a young priest, who gave her bread and tea. She said she realized later the priest was Karol Wojtyla, who became pope.
