The "Little Sisters" mentoring program at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach is looking for people to mentor pregnant or parenting teens.
The mentoring program is designed to bring confidence, high self-esteem and education to pregnant and parenting teen girls through educational rap sessions on issues such as nutrition, child abuse, parenting skills, child safety and STD's. In addition, the program provides social outings such as picnics, holiday parties, movie nights, theme park visits, makeovers and free massages for the girls.
