Organ dedicated at St. Therese

San Gabriel Regional News

A rebuilt and expanded Schantz concert pipe organ was recently dedicated at St. Therese Church, Alhambra.

Music director/organist Robert Prichard marked the event by performing a recital of classical works to display the renovated instrument's capabilities, and the combined parish choirs performed the John Rutter "Te Deum." Outside of a cathedral, the 72-voice, 4,046-pipe organ is said to be the largest Catholic church pipe organ in the western U.S.
