Graduating Visitation students awarded scholarships by Knights

Twelve graduating eighth and twelfth grade students, members of Visitation Church in Westchester, recently received $500 scholarships from the Knights of Columbus Westchester Council 3744.

The funds --- raised from local fish fries, casino nights and the contributions by widows of former Knights --- represented a record amount for the council. Recipients were Megan Correnti, Michelle Mallek, Timothy Deal, Lauren Holloway, Andrew Waldron, John Le Duff, Michael Harvey, Paige De Marco, Kathryn Kaufman, Mathew Whittaker, Christina Engler and Priscilla Padilla.
