The 2004 National Convention of the American Guild of Organists will take place in Los Angeles July 4-9, at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel.
The event features a variety of workshops, tours and concert performances, including a tour and organ-and-choir performance July 5, 8 p.m. at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. Martin Jean is the featured organist, with Paul Salamunovich conducting the choir. A mini-recital will take place featuring Cathedral organist Sal Soria on July 9, 8:30 a.m., followed by a performance of the Los Angeles Master chorale.
