"Living Out Our Catholic Commitment to Care" is the theme for a ten-week discussion group geared toward issues of social ethics and justice at Our Mother of Good Counsel Church, Los Angeles.

The group will begin meeting June 9, 7-8:45 p.m. in the parish hall, said Deacon Gregory Heidenblut, facilitator. "This group is primarily for anyone who wishes to make a difference in their own lives and the lives of the less fortunate in their own local community and the world community," he explained.

Group discussion will focus on "understanding what Scripture reveals to us concerning our responsibilities to our less fortunate sisters and brothers and to creation, grounded in Catholic social teaching," he said. For information, call Heidenblut, (323) 664-2111.
